Welcome to UniSpendz. By creating an account or using this application, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

UniSpendz is a personal financial planning and tracking tool designed for college students. It helps you plan semester costs, track funding sources, record transactions, reconcile accounts, and manage your monthly spending. The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use UniSpendz. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use UniSpendz only for lawful purposes. You may not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (b) introduce malicious code; (c) use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Service; (d) impersonate another person.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of the financial data you enter into UniSpendz. We store your data securely to provide the Service. You may export or delete your data at any time through the Settings panel. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

5. No Financial Advice

UniSpendz is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. The calculations, projections, and suggestions provided are based solely on the data you enter. We do not guarantee accuracy of financial projections. For professional financial advice, consult a qualified financial advisor.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

UniSpendz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the Reset All Data feature or by contacting us. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
